Free time is an important issue whose planning has been rarely studied while the developed countries have done detailed planning in this field.

Our country has plenty of holidays; therefore, it is necessary to use free time wisely. This objective is realized by scientific and effective management. Thus, it is necessary to launch academic programs in free time management.

The Department of Free Time aims to reach the following objectives:

• To train professional graduates who are able to teach, do research and manage the free time-relates issues.
• To train professional graduates as future policy makers of free time management.
• To enhance the scientific knowledge required to use the free time wisely and effectively.
